hI, I’M AINSLEY!

I’m an experienced Personal Trainer who’s passionate about educating women on how to optimise their overall health, nutrition and training. I additionally focus on habits and mindset as these are the building blocks of becoming successful with your health and fitness goals.

I have always been someone who needs balance in their lifestyle when it comes to nutrition and training and I understand it’s important to approach health and fitness in a simple yet sustainable way for long lasting results.

I have a strong hunger for enhancing my knowledge. As I’ve evolved, I became especially interested in women’s health and the menstrual cycle, as I had my own experience with coming off the pill in 2019. Since then, I took a deep dive into learning the different stages of the cycle and all of the hormone fluctuations we experience over the month. I continue to learn about women's physiology and ways we can adjust training that is best suited to females.

When I started my own health and fitness journey over 10 years ago, I was definitely someone who did too much cardio and was afraid of the weights section. Thanks to a trainer at the gym, I learnt how to lift weights and I fell in love with the process of building muscle and seeing my body change. Lifting weights has made me feel so strong and confident in the gym, but also within myself and in other areas of my life. This is the reason why I became a personal trainer and why I started Gains with Ains.

I want to coach women who are in the same position as I once was; intimidated by the weights section, always defaulting to the cardio equipment, don’t feel confident to lift heavy weights but want push themselves to their full potential.
